FAQS

- Nathaniel Clayton's Books-

Why does Nathaniel Wood Clayton write about so many subjects?

Nathaniel Wood Clayton's work spans several fields because my experience and research do. Security, artificial intelligence, history, religion, folklore, and human behavior may appear unrelated, but they repeatedly intersect around the same questions: how people understand danger, exercise power, form beliefs, and respond to uncertainty.

He does not claim that expertise in one field automatically makes me an authority in another. Each subject is treated separately, with its own research, sources, methodology, and editorial standards.

Is Nathaniel an Expert in Everything He Writes About?

No. Nathaniel Wood Clayton does not claim to be an expert in every subject he writes about.

His work spans a wide range of topics, including security, cybersecurity, investigations, artificial intelligence, history, religion, folklore, and human behavior. Some of these subjects come from professional experience, while others are the result of years of personal study, research, and ongoing learning.

Nathaniel believes expertise is earned within specific fields and should not be assumed simply because someone writes about a topic. Each subject is approached independently, using its own sources, research methods, and standards of evidence. When writing about areas outside his direct professional experience, he relies on reputable books, academic research, historical records, government publications, and other credible sources.

As both an author and researcher, Nathaniel’s goal is not to present himself as the ultimate authority on every topic. Instead, he seeks to make complex subjects more understandable, encourage critical thinking, and provide readers with a starting point for further exploration.

His professional background in security, public safety, media production, and investigations provides practical insight into some areas of his work, while his lifelong curiosity drives him to study and write about many others. Whether discussing cybersecurity, history, Christian theology, folklore, or artificial intelligence, Nathaniel strives to approach each subject with intellectual honesty, careful research, and a commitment to continual learning.

What Types of Books Does Nathaniel Write?

Nathaniel Wood Clayton writes nonfiction books across a variety of subjects, with a focus on security, history, religion, investigations, technology, folklore, and personal development. While the topics may seem diverse, they are connected by a common interest in how people think, make decisions, build societies, respond to risk, and understand the world around them.

His books generally fall into several categories:

Why should I read Nathaniel's Books?

Nathaniel Wood Clayton writes for readers who are curious, thoughtful, and eager to learn. His books explore subjects such as security, cybersecurity, investigations, history, Christian theology, folklore, artificial intelligence, and human behavior, with a focus on making complex ideas understandable and accessible.

Rather than writing exclusively for academics or specialists, Nathaniel aims to bridge the gap between expert knowledge and everyday readers. His books combine practical insights, historical research, real-world experience, and a passion for lifelong learning. Whether examining security risks, historical figures, religious beliefs, emerging technologies, or cultural traditions, he strives to present information in a clear, engaging, and easy-to-understand way.

Readers who enjoy independent thinking, research-driven writing, and exploring a wide range of topics will find something of interest in his work. Nathaniel does not expect readers to agree with every conclusion he reaches. Instead, he hopes to encourage critical thinking, meaningful discussion, and a deeper understanding of the world around us.

If you are interested in security, investigations, cybersecurity, history, Christianity, folklore, artificial intelligence, personal growth, or the study of human behavior, Nathaniel’s books are designed to inform, challenge, and inspire curiosity long after the final page.

-FINAL JUBILEE questions-

When did Final Jubilee begin?

Final Jubilee traces its origins to at least 2008, based on surviving audio files and music projects from that period. During the late 2000s, Nathaniel Wood Clayton was already creating and sharing music under the Final Jubilee name. He distributed Final Jubilee demo CDs at The Mix, the youth ministry of Fellowship Church in Grapevine, Texas, where he was active as a teenager.

By 2010, Final Jubilee was being used as the name of dedicated GarageBand recording projects, and by the early 2010s the project had established an online presence through music-sharing platforms while Nathaniel was studying recording arts. What began as a home-recording project eventually evolved into a long-running creative outlet spanning electronic music, experimental recordings, and independent digital releases.

The earliest surviving Final Jubilee recordings currently documented date to October 2008, although some material and live distribution efforts may predate those files.

-Timeline-

  • 2008–2009 – Final Jubilee demo CDs distributed at The Mix youth ministry in Grapevine, Texas.

  • 2010 – Dedicated Final Jubilee GarageBand projects created.

  • 2011–2012 – Public artist profiles and online music distribution while attending recording arts school.

  • 2014 – Continued development and recording activity.

  • Present – Final Jubilee remains Nathaniel Wood Clayton’s music project and creative outlet.

Is Nathaniel Wood Clayton (Final Jubilee) related to The Final Jubilee?

No, Nathaniel Wood Clayton is connected to Final Jubilee, his long-running music project. In its early years, some projects used the name The Final Jubilee, but the name was later shortened to Final Jubilee.

Today, several unrelated ministries and creators also use names such as The Final Jubilee. Nathaniel is not affiliated with those groups. He has no plans to interfere with their use of the name, as long as they do not interfere with his continued use of Final Jubilee. He wishes them well.

-Media Questions-

Which DAW does Nathaniel use?

Nathaniel was Pro Tools certified back in the day, but Logic Pro has always been his favorite DAW. He also enjoys working with Reason and has spent some time with Ableton Live. Native Instruments Komplete is another tool he really likes for music production, recording, editing, and creative sound design.

Which Video Editing does Nathaniel use?

Nathaniel has hands-on experience in video editing, stop-motion animation, and post-production. He became skilled with Final Cut Pro 7 and produced several stop-motion projects, along with short children’s ministry videos for Fellowship Church in Grapevine.

While studying film at MediaTech Institute, Nathaniel trained on Final Cut Pro but also used Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects on his own laptop. In 2022, he worked as a videographer at Pleasant View Camp, connected with First Baptist Lloydminster in Canada, using Video Pro X11 and iPhone iMovie depending on the needs of each project.

Today, Nathaniel continues to edit video using Final Cut Pro X and Motion.

Does Nathaniel use AI?

Yes. Nathaniel Wood Clayton uses artificial intelligence (AI) as a tool to assist with research, brainstorming, outlining, editing, content organization, and creative exploration.

Like many modern authors, researchers, and content creators, Nathaniel views AI as a productivity tool rather than a replacement for human judgment, critical thinking, professional experience, or original creativity. AI can help generate ideas, summarize information, improve workflow efficiency, and assist with drafting, but it does not replace the need for fact-checking, research, source verification, or final editorial review.

Nathaniel personally reviews, edits, and refines his work before publication. His books, articles, blog posts, and other projects are shaped by his own experiences, interests, research, and perspective. AI is used to support the creative and research process, not to replace it.

Nathaniel is particularly interested in the growing role of artificial intelligence in cybersecurity, investigations, education, business, content creation, and everyday life. As AI technology continues to evolve, he believes it is important to understand both its opportunities and its limitations.

Rather than fearing artificial intelligence or treating it as a shortcut, Nathaniel sees AI as a powerful tool that can help people learn, create, solve problems, and work more efficiently when used responsibly and ethically.

-Nathaniel’s Statement of Faith-

Nathaniel’s Christian Faith | Protestant Beliefs

Nathaniel is a devoted Protestant Christian whose faith shapes his daily life, personal values, and relationships. He is actively involved in a local Baptist church in Lloydminster, where he values biblical teaching, prayer, worship, Christian fellowship, and service.

Although Nathaniel’s spiritual roots are firmly grounded in the Baptist tradition, he also has a sincere interest in the wider Christian Church. His friendships with Christians from several denominations have given him a deeper appreciation for the richness of Christian history, worship, and theology. He remains committed to his own convictions while seeking respectful dialogue, meaningful fellowship, and unity among believers.

Nathaniel also finds common ground with principles associated with the Royal Black Institution, a Protestant organization with historic connections to the Orange tradition and origins in Ireland. He is especially drawn to its emphasis on the Protestant Christian faith, loyalty to the British Crown, and the preservation of Protestant heritage and rights.

Together, these influences have shaped a faith that is both firmly rooted and open-hearted. Nathaniel seeks to remain faithful to Scripture and his Protestant heritage while treating Christians from other traditions with respect and charity. His Baptist church involvement, appreciation for traditional Anglican Catholic teaching, and friendships across denominational lines continue to deepen his understanding of Christianity and strengthen his desire for unity among believers.

The Bible

I believe the Holy Bible is the complete, inspired, and authoritative Word of God. The sixty-six books of the Old and New Testaments, as originally written, were verbally inspired by the Holy Spirit and are entirely true and without error.

I believe the Bible is the final authority in all matters of Christian faith, doctrine, morality, and daily practice. It is the trustworthy foundation upon which believers should build their lives and the true basis of Christian unity.

God

I believe in one true and living God, the holy, sovereign, eternal Creator of all things.

God exists eternally in three co-equal and co-eternal Persons: the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. Although each Person is distinct, they are one God in nature, power, glory, and divine purpose.

Jesus Christ

I believe in the full and essential deity of Jesus Christ, the eternal Son of God.

Jesus Christ existed eternally with the Father before entering the world through His miraculous virgin birth. He lived a completely sinless life and willingly suffered and died as a substitutionary sacrifice for sinners.

I believe that Jesus rose bodily from the grave, ascended triumphantly into heaven, and now intercedes on behalf of His people. I also believe that He will personally, bodily, and gloriously return.

The Holy Spirit

I believe in the full deity and personhood of the Holy Spirit.

The Holy Spirit convicts the world of sin, righteousness, and judgment. He brings new spiritual life to those who place their faith in Jesus Christ and continues to sanctify, guide, enlighten, comfort, and strengthen every believer.

Humanity and Sin

I believe that humanity was created in the image of God and was originally made for fellowship with Him.

Through sin, however, humanity became guilty before God and subject to spiritual and physical death. Sin has affected every part of human nature, leaving mankind totally unable to save itself.

Apart from the grace and mercy of God, humanity is spiritually lost and separated from Him.

Salvation

I believe that salvation is a gift of God’s sovereign grace and cannot be earned through human effort, religious observance, or good works.

According to the Father’s eternal plan, Jesus Christ willingly suffered and died as a substitutionary sacrifice for sinners. Through His death and bodily resurrection, Christ fully accomplished everything necessary for salvation.

I believe that sinners are justified before God by faith alone in Jesus Christ and His completed work. All who are truly called by God and place their trust in Christ are forgiven, reconciled to God, and preserved by His grace. God will ultimately make every believer complete in the likeness of Christ.

The Return of Christ and Final Judgment

I believe in the personal, bodily, visible, and glorious return of Jesus Christ.

There will be a bodily resurrection of both the just and the unjust. Those who have been redeemed through Christ will enter eternal life and joy in the presence of God. Those who remain unrepentant will face eternal, conscious judgment.

The Local Church

I believe that a local church is a gathering of baptized believers who have been called out of the world and united through faith in Jesus Christ.

The local church exists to worship God, teach His Word, build up believers, care for its members, spread the Gospel, and celebrate the sacred practices Christ entrusted to His Church.

I believe each local congregation is accountable to Jesus Christ as its Lord and Head. Its spiritual leadership should be provided by faithful pastors and deacons who meet the biblical qualifications established in Scripture.

Baptism and the Holy Eucharist

I believe Baptism and the Holy Eucharist were instituted by Jesus Christ and hold an important place in the worship, fellowship, and spiritual life of the Church.

Baptism

I believe baptism is the immersion in water of those who have personally repented of their sins and placed their faith in Jesus Christ.

Baptism is an act of Christian obedience and a public declaration of faith. It symbolizes the believer’s identification with Christ in His death, burial, and resurrection. It also represents the believer’s death to the former way of life and entrance into a new life of discipleship.

Baptism does not earn salvation. Rather, it publicly bears witness to the saving grace that has already been received through faith in Jesus Christ.

The Holy Eucharist

I believe the Holy Eucharist, also known as Holy Communion or the Lord’s Supper, is a sacrament instituted by Jesus Christ and a true means of grace. It is more than a symbolic memorial or an ordinary sharing of bread and wine.

Under the outward forms of consecrated bread and wine, Jesus Christ is truly and spiritually present. In the Eucharist, Christ feeds and strengthens the faithful with His Body and Blood, drawing believers into a deeper communion with Himself and with His Church.

I believe the Eucharist is a spiritual sacrifice in which the Church’s worship, praise, and thanksgiving are united with Christ’s one, perfect, and all-sufficient sacrifice upon the Cross. The Eucharist does not repeat, replace, or add to Christ’s completed work. Rather, it sacramentally unites believers with the saving sacrifice He accomplished once for all.

Those who receive Holy Communion with faith, repentance, reverence, and proper spiritual preparation remember and proclaim the Lord’s death, receive His grace and spiritual nourishment, and look forward with hope to His glorious return.

Nathaniel’s Exploration of Fraternal and Esoteric Traditions

Nathaniel’s Protestant Christian faith remains central to his spiritual life, values, and personal identity. Alongside his involvement in the Christian community, he has also taken an interest in organizations and traditions such as Freemasonry, Odd Fellowship, and Rosicrucianism.

Nathaniel has approached each of these traditions with curiosity, discernment, and an open mind. Rather than assuming that unfamiliar teachings or practices must conflict with his faith, he has sought to understand them through thoughtful study, respectful conversation, and personal experience.

In Nathaniel’s view, his exploration of these organizations has not created a conflict with his Protestant beliefs. Although Freemasonry, Odd Fellowship, and Rosicrucian traditions each have their own histories, rituals, symbols, and philosophies, Nathaniel has found meaningful points of connection with the moral principles he already values as a Christian.

Shared Values and Moral Principles

Nathaniel is particularly drawn to the emphasis these traditions place on values such as:

  • Brotherhood and fellowship

  • Charity and service to others

  • Personal responsibility

  • Moral and ethical development

  • Self-examination and personal growth

  • The pursuit of wisdom and truth

For Nathaniel, these principles do not replace the teachings of Christianity or the authority of Scripture. Instead, he sees them as practical values that can complement his commitment to living an honest, charitable, disciplined, and faith-filled life.

His Protestant faith continues to provide the foundation for his understanding of God, salvation, morality, and spiritual truth. His interest in fraternal and philosophical traditions has served as an opportunity to reflect more deeply on his beliefs rather than to abandon or weaken them.

- Fraternal Questions -

Does Nathaniel's Fraternal Involvement conflict with his Faith?

Nathaniel recognizes that Christians hold a variety of opinions about Freemasonry, Odd Fellowship, Rosicrucianism, and similar organizations. Some churches and individual believers consider participation compatible with Christian faith, while others express theological or practical concerns.

He respects these differences and understands that each person must examine such questions carefully according to Scripture, conscience, prayer, and personal conviction.

Nathaniel does not present his experience as a universal conclusion for every Christian. His perspective reflects his own spiritual journey and the way he has personally understood and approached these traditions.

For Nathaniel, it has been possible to explore fraternal and philosophical organizations while remaining firmly committed to his Protestant faith. He believes these experiences have broadened his understanding, strengthened meaningful relationships, encouraged personal growth, and added depth to his continuing spiritual journey.

Personal Fraternal History

Nathaniel’s involvement with Freemasonry, Odd Fellowship, and Rosicrucian traditions has introduced him to people from a wide range of religious, cultural, and personal backgrounds. These relationships have encouraged meaningful dialogue and helped him better understand perspectives different from his own.

Through these experiences, Nathaniel has found opportunities to develop greater self-awareness, strengthen his character, serve others, and consider important questions about morality, spirituality, symbolism, and the human search for truth.

He believes that respectful engagement with people from different traditions can deepen understanding without requiring a person to compromise sincerely held religious convictions.
